hey there, i'm brooke- the creative force behind brooke murray photography.
Without those pivotal moments – becoming a mother, diving into online courses, and that random Nikon purchase – I wouldn't be here talking to you. Life has a funny way of steering us toward unexpected passions, and I'm grateful for every twist and turn that brought me to this point.
It was the birth of my second child in 2019 that skyrocketed my love for photography. Picture this: me, on maternity leave, not binging on TV shows, but devouring online photography and editing courses (Kidding!! I definitely watched some netflix too). My husband, unknowingly setting the stage for all this to happen, when he snagged a used Nikon camera off Facebook Marketplace for me.
Now, let me rewind the story a bit. My journey into photography didn't start with a camera in my hand at the age of 8, as you might expect from the typical fairytale story. Nope, my path to this passion took a few unexpected turns.
Fast forward to 2017, the year I became a mom to a beautiful baby girl. Motherhood hit me like a ton of bricks, in the best possible way. this profound desire to freeze time, to capture every giggle and growth spurt, gripped me.

2024 sudbury professional firefighters calendar
"Brooke definitely had her work cut out for her while working on the Sudbury Professional Firefighter 2024 Calendar. She was very patient and a pleasure to work with. The logistics of this project were a challenge at times and deadlines were tight, Brooke was very organized, flexible and efficient. She is creative and has a great vision for photography and her pictures have been described as "uplifting and friendly". All of our models and supporters have been very pleased with her work."
